We adhere to the guidelines set forth by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and are licensed as a Private Occupational School by the Massachusetts Division of Professional Licensure.
Nurse Aide/Home Health Aide Training Programs
Training programs are available for the following positions:
- Nurse Aide
- Home Health Aide
- CPR/AED
- Basic First Aid
The Nurse Aide/Home Health Aide Training Program is designed to integrate theory and clinical standards of practice required for Certification as a Nursing Assistant in the State of Massachusetts.
Students of the dual program will receive the following:
- Certificates for all completed programs
- Assistance with reciprocity to other states
- Hands-on instruction in DPH-approved nursing homes, hospital settings or home care
Total hours: 120
The Home Health Aide Training Program is designed to integrate theory and clinical standards of practice required for Certification as a Home Health Aide in the State of Massachusetts. The student of the Home Health Aide Program will receive the following:
- Certificates for all completed programs
- Hands-on instruction in DPH-approved nursing homes, hospital settings or home care
Total hours: 75

Medication Administration Program (MAP)
The MAP program ensures that candidates seeking to be MAP certified staff are prepared to safely administer medications as regulated by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
This training is currently available only to LifeStream employees.
