LifeStream’s Employment & Training Division has a 20-year tradition of successfully assisting economically disadvantaged people find and maintain career employment. With a proven track record of over 150 placements per year, we have the experience you need to find qualified candidates.

CIES Program Provider
We are the primary provider of the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance’s Comprehensive Integrated Employment Services (CIES) program in Greater New Bedford, assisting welfare recipients in seeking employment as well as training them for the workplace. Our CIES program provides the following:
- Pre-screening of applicants
- Work Opportunity tax credits
- Employee support during critical early period of employment
Job Training
We help clients gain the personal and professional skills needed to succeed on the job. Because our Employment & Training division includes a licensed private business school, our health care candidates receive extensive training and participate in state certification programs including CNA, CHHA and First Aid/CPR.
In addition to health care, we also train and help clients find entry-level and more skilled positions in sales, data entry, manufacturing, product distribution, and hospitality.
