Training Program

You will spend 40-80 hours in the training program, which is similar to a daily work environment. You’ll learn about time sheets, proper dress, general health, and nutrition.

During these sessions you will also learn about proper workplace behavior, balancing work and home life, improving language and math skills, preparing resumes, interviewing skills and job search techniques. We will identify your skills, strengths and current issues related to keeping a job. Most importantly, we will work with you to create an Employability Development Plan. This is your personalized plan that will identify at least three job choices that are right for you.

All our training and placement programs have bilingual assistance available in English and Spanish. We will help you improve your speaking and reading skills for the workplace.

We will work with P.A.C.E. and your case worker from the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance to provide paid childcare and transportation. Arrangements can be made right away so you can participate in our training and placement programs as soon as possible.

For more information please call 508-991-4503 or contact your DTA case worker.
